We hope you and your family are healthy and safe. We have some updates we would like to share with you:
1. With the recent global pandemic, NickzFlix’s usage has never been higher. To help with this, we have recently doubled our upload speed by getting a better internet plan. There have been several times where we “maxed out” our upload speed and some folks may have noticed quality or connection issues. This should be resolved as we have plenty of overhead.
2. You will notice we consolidated our libraries, like New Releases. The goal is easier navigation. FYI, when you go to MOVIES, then filter by RECOMMENDED, you will notice Newly Released Movies and Recently Added. Knowing this has made quite a difference for several users.
3. Storage upgrade soon. Planned Migration to new RAID card and larger hard drives will be the mid-May. We will give you a more defined timeline as we approach said time. We will be going from 10TB to roughly 40TB of high availability storage.
4. Don’t forget about the request feature. While we are currently limited on storage, that won’t be the case in the near future. To request a movie:
· Go to NickzFlix.com
· Navigate to the Request tab
· Authenticate via the Plex option
· Request a Movie or TV show
